Our barn-conversion with bunk accommodation has been made with the outdoor enthusiast in mind. New for 2025 four luxury Glamping Pods available from July. We have the ideal combination of comfort and practical facilities that are just the thing after a big day in the Yorkshire Dales. Dales Bike Centre makes the ideal base in Swaledale for cycling, running, walking, or simply a cosy getaway with friends. Located on the edge of the village of Reeth, an ideal overnight stop over for Coast to Coast walk and mountain bike route.
The Cakery Loft is a self-contained apartment for 4 people on the first floor of our award-winning Cakery Cafe building. It has two bedrooms with a bunk in each and a lounge area. Bathroom and shower on the same floor. Kitchenette equipped with fridge, microwave, hob ring, kettle, toaster, tea & coffee etc.. Free use of guest facilities: Wifi, secure bike store, drying room and access the Cakery Cafe out of hours to relax in the lounge.
Fresh clean bedding and pillows are provided.
Includes breakfast in the Cakery Cafe every morning.

The Bunk Loft is on the first floor of a converted stone barn with secure bike storage below. It has three separate bunk rooms that sleep either two or four people with single occupancy available.

Fresh clean bedding and pillows are provided. Bunk rooms have access to bathroom and 2x showers on the same floor. Free use of guest facilities: Wifi, secure bike store, drying room and access the Cakery Cafe out of hours to make yourself a brew and relax in the lounge. Exciting news.. Four luxury Mega-Pods are due to be completed by July 2025
Mega-Pods are a luxury wooden glamping pods that are ideal for a couple, friends or a stay with one or two little ones. Sleeping arrangement is a king-size bed and comfortable fold out sofa-bed with fresh clean bedding and pillows provided. Separate seating area, TV, en-suite toilet/shower room, equipped kitchen area with sink, fridge, kettle, combination oven, access to secure bike store, wifi and outside deck area with table & chairs.
*Friday & Saturday can only be booked as a 2 night stay

Do we accept dogs into the Rooms and Pods? Sorry, no we don't.
Do we have bike storage? Yes plenty!
Do we take campervans for overnight stays? We can't, there's a National Park planning restriction prohibiting overnight campervans.
Do we have charging points for E-bikes? Yes, it's easier if the battery is charged off the bike, but we can also charge fixed battery E-bikes.
Do we accept motorbike groups? We can't, there's a National Park planning restriction around motorbikes.
Are we close to the Coast to Coast walk route? Yes, just 100metres from the actual Coast to Coast route on the edge of Reeth
Do we privide bedding? Yes, bedding is provided and beds made up. Bring a towel or hire one from us
